2007 was the Year of YouTube.  But that led to the spawning of copycat as well as niche-focused user-generated video sharing websites.  There are new video sites cropping up weekly which means the volume of videos avaiable is continuously growing!

Don't forget that sermons arising out of stories are not limited to movies from Hollywood.

What makes a video clip viral can be an impactful storyline within in it -- regardless of how long or short it may be.  Keep your eye out for great video illustration opportunities in this category of video download sites.

Additionally, there is a growing cottage industry around Christian video (and still) illustrations for sermons and teaching in the church.  You can find supportive video across almost an endless spectrum of topics and themes.

If you're preaching ministry has limited resources, this is a great way to augment the presentation of the Gospel by bringing in professional quality video clips that can either set-up or support your message from the text.
