The Literal Jesus in Film
From the
beginning of
film, Jesus has consistently been captured on film. Portrayed
in various ways across over 2 dozen films, Jesus literally was subject
matter for directors behind the cameras.
Through this filmography, you have the opportunity to find video segments that illustrates various circumstances and events throughout Jesus' time on Earth.
While using these types of movies is the most literal way to bring life to the stories and parables found in the Old and New Testament, many times visual illustrations will allow the congregation to "see" the same text in a very new light.
