If you&#8217;ve been commuting on Route 280, you&#8217;ve undoubtedly noticed the CONSTRUCTION that seems to go on for ages.
Guess what, it&#8217;s been confirmed that Route 280 from exit 6 to exit 13 will remain in the rough milled condition till summer of 2010!

</script></p><p>If you&#8217;ve been commuting on Route 280, you&#8217;ve undoubtedly noticed the CONSTRUCTION that seems to go on for ages.</p>
<p>Guess what, it&#8217;s been confirmed that <a href="http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=h&amp;lat=40.795572&amp;lon=-74.267129&amp;zoom=14">Route 280 from exit 6 to exit 13</a> will remain in the rough milled condition till summer of 2010!</p>

<p>According to the Star Ledger, they&#8217;re <a href="http://www.nj.com/news/local/index.ssf/2009/10/repairs_to_route_280_to_linger.html">spending over $23 Million to repair the 18 miles of Rt 280</a> that carry over 100,000 cars daily.  It&#8217;s the first repaving project on the highway since 1975 apparently.</p>
<p>You&#8217;d think $23 Million would get a quicker time line than 1 year for repairs!</p>
