Hey, it’s officially 2pm on Tuesday! Do you know what that means?
FREE admission for everyone to the Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange, NJ! Right behind the Codey Arena at South Mountain, you’ll find the entrance to a cute and quaint little zoo.
Yes, they make a big deal about the fact that Turtle Back Zoo is now an accredited zoo. That means they have a hospital and other upgraded facilities that will ensure the best health and protection for the animals and a great experience for the kids visiting the destination.
We’re going to try out the free choo choo train ride around the South Mountain lake as well as the new animal carousel, which isn’t actually free…$2.00
But at least we save on the $8 admission for adults as well as the $4 admission for kids it normally takes to get into the zoo.
See you there!

The summer flew by and we’re finally back to school tomorrow!
But there’s one more day of summer fun — today!
And if you’re quick, you can zip over to the Barnes & Noble Livingston to pick-up your completely free book.
Last year, they gave out over 300,000 free books to kids in 1st Grade to 6th Grade through their Summer Reading Program.
Just print out the reading journal, fill out 8 books you’ve read this summer and bring it into Barnes & Noble on Mt. Pleasant Avenue (Route 10 West) by the Livingston Circle.
Enjoy!
