Today through February 28th is a deer hunt at South Mountain Reservation on Tues/Thurs.

All access to the reservation area behind Codey Arena and Turtle Back Zoo is closed by police cars and other official looking cars at each gate.

All the while, professional trained marksmen go in and shoot deer to control the population. There were a bunch of news trucks in front of South Mountain Arena by the bus stop to cover the news…You can head on over to get into the cameraman’s shot, but I’d stay away unless you wanna get shot literally. listen
